CashCove for Android
The companion app watches this phone for bank SMS and turns them into drafts. Nothing reaches your ledger until you approve it on the web — the phone captures, you decide.

Installing it
CashCove is not on the Play Store yet, so Android will try to stop you installing it. The warnings are about where the file came from, not about what is in it — but one of them is a hard block, so it is worth reading these before you start.

Let your browser install it
Open the downloaded file. Android says the app is from an unknown source — allow installing from whatever app you opened it in (Chrome, Drive, Files). This is asked once per app, not once per install.

Get past Play Protect
Play Protect will block it outright: "App blocked to protect your device", then "App not installed". That is expected — Android blocks sideloaded apps that ask for SMS permissions, and this dialog has no "Install anyway". Open Play Store → your profile picture → Play Protect → the gear icon, turn off "Scan apps with Play Protect", install the APK, then turn that setting straight back on. It will not block CashCove again once installed, and leaving scanning off would disable it for every other app on your phone.

Grant SMS access when the app asks
CashCove asks for SMS permission the first time you turn capture on. It reads bank alerts to build drafts. Say no and everything else still works — you just add transactions by hand.
On Xiaomi, Redmi and Poco you may also need Settings → Privacy protection → Special permissions → Install unknown apps, and to turn off MIUI's own scan.
What it does with your messages
The app only queues messages that look like bank or payment transaction alerts. Everything else on your phone is ignored and never leaves it. Captured messages become drafts you review; they are never posted to your ledger automatically.
You can turn capture off at any time, and signing out disables background capture on the phone. The Privacy Policy covers what is stored and for how long.
Updating
Download the newer APK from this page and install it over the old one. Your account and settings carry across — there is no need to uninstall first, and doing so would sign you out.
There is no iPhone build. Reading SMS is not something iOS permits an app to do, so the capture the companion app exists for is not possible there.
